I heard this from two different people that grew up in Las Vegas.
A couple of teens that were experienced scuba divers decided to explore Devil's Hole and never resurfaced. Supposedly the Navy was asked for help and sent a team that included SEAL divers and a remote submersible but the teens were never found.
