In October '01 we our group of Rovers encountered a fullsized Silverado with running boards stranded in the riparian section of the trail. At this point, the vegitation-choked, rock-strewn streambed becomes the route. We had to work hard to get him through this section by carefully piling rocks and spotting, but even then he made contact with underbody and running boards several times. At the top of the streambed, he pulled over and we passed him. I don't know how sucessfully he made it back down solo...
If you have good clearance, the fullsize will be OK. If you don't, you should bring help for spotting and rock stacking.
