Badwater Weather Data

I just returned from a Death Valley ’49er meeting and the Park Service briefed us on the Badwater revamping project. It will start probably in late November 2002.
The weather station that has not been transmitting data to the headquarters will be repaired and the instruments will be relocated on top of the outhouse. Thus, the headquarters will not be showing weather readings for Badwater until the instruments are moved and the telemetry portion of the computer is repaired. However, the data is recorded and is available but there is a delay in recording it.
