Sure, just ask CR Briggs Company. I think they are prospecting a bit out there. Even doing some mining.
But much of the upper elevations are inside DVNP and some of the lower elevations are in BLM wilderness, which i believe allows mining, but no motors. (Good luck)
Not to mention, there is still much patented land in the range.
