AT&T wireless has great coverage (old LA cellular). I have always been able to get either digital or analog service even in remote areas. However a small hike to the high ground might be necessary. In Panamint Valley I get analog service and my bill shows Tonopah as the access point. My old service was Airtouch and it sucked in the desert. AT&T has never let me down.
