Mike Henebry was successful at his first Badwater ultra- finishing in just over 51 hours. We had temps near the 125 mark and a wind at Stovepipe(123 degrees)that was incredible. I am much more familiar with the landscape of the Valley as I was able to watch the sun rise and set twice as well as pace Mike for a large portion of the race.I saw two mountain lions on towne pass but was discouraged to learn that when I saw Julia Roberts grooming them I realized that I was hallucinating.
