I went to the Racetrack from Ubehebe in April via motorcycle - saw 3 other vehicles including a mini-motorhome. The road is 25 miles of serious washboard, but it is fine otherwise. If you don't give up in the first 5 miles you will be fine. Make sure you bring lots of water.
