South Park Bridge to nowhere

Can anyone tell me how many mile exactly it is to the South Park turn off out of Ballarat? Last time I think I turned to soon and went a canyon to a mine. I've been up the right road a few years back and turned around about half way up a steep grade because I wasn't to sure if there might be a turn around spot just in case the road was not passable. Which leads to my next question is it passable in a full size pickup? I understand there is a very narrow spot just after the bridge. I did Goler to warm springs last year and thought it was a piece of cake so how much more difficult is South Park than Goler? Thanks,
