I had the exact same problem with the stock 18" rims on my HSE. Now that I have a set of D2 16" rims (bought for cheap on the web, sold by someone 'trading up' to 18" rims) and put on Big O XTs I have not had any more problems.
My sidewalls are getting a bit chewed up, so I may be taking advantage of the Big O unconditional warranty soon!
