About 3 yrs ago, I was walking deep into the Devil's Golf Course and found a golf ball. Picking it up and not wanting to leave behind other people trash in the park, I walked back and near the car, I noticed a strange shape thing on the ground that looks like a dried mushroom. I picked that up also thinking that it was more garbage and then I realized what it was, it was a wooden golf tee that expanded from the moist salt water.
Sure it was a long shot that they were both used at the same time, but instead to throwing them away, I kept both and made a nice small frame to hold both items together with a photo I took of the Devil's Golf Course as backdrop to hang on the wall to remember the trip.
