We always stay at Stovepipe Wells. Nice rooms and fairly central location plus good restaurant, general store, and gas are there, too. Furnace Creek Inn is super, but very expensive. A bit cheaper is the Furnace Creek Ranch. You might consider the sponsor of this board: Panamint Springs Resort. Good luck and enjoy!
