I like the new NPS morning report format in general, but...

1) I liked in the old format how they would put identify the state next to the national park name. Some of those parks can be so obscure I found it helpful just to have a general sense of geography about where the parks are.

2) I liked the "Previous" and "Next" links in the old reports -- made navigating from one report to the next a breeze.

3) I hope they make a larger portion of their archive available. Before this week, you were able access reports dating back several years -- not just a couple of months.

On that historical note, I can highly recommend Death, Daring and Disaster: Search and Rescue in the National Parks
by Charles R. Butch Farabee (ISBN: 1570982023). It is basically a compilation of NPS Morning Report items dating back nearly to when the NPS was first founded. A very fun book to have around the camp fire!
