There is only one week left for you to prepare and send your comments to the BLM regarding the preparation of the environmental impact statement for the proposed closure of Surprise Canyon to motorized vehicles.
Remember, this is your opportunity to suggest to the Bureau alternatives and issues that you feel need to be addressed in the EIS. For example, if enough people suggest the alternative of a seasonal closure, it will have to be studied and weighted.
If you've already submitted your written comments, we invite you to share them here. It may result in others echoing your comments and add weight to their impact.
