There is the remains of a tram from Clair Camp up to the Ratcliff mine. If you follow this 4200 foot aerial tram, there are still ore buckets attached to the cable. All the bolts are so rusted, I doubt that hand tools could break them loose. Even if you did, you would probably either kill your self or destroy the bucket trying to get it out. The last time I was at the mine, there was no equipment for processing ore, just the headframe. Everything came down to Clair Camp. In late 99, a twenty stamp mill and a 50 ton cyanide tank was installed at Claire Camp which made the Ratcliff the king of the hill producing $15,000 in gold per month. None of that remains now.
