I prefer to stay in Beatty Nevada. The food, fuel and lodgings are more reasonable and the nightlife is in a class all its own. Second choice is Pamamint Springs. Very friendly folks there.
Dogs are OK in the park. Must be on lead at all times, when around people. My dog loves it at Racetrack and Cloride City.
