Among these are: * The grave of Carl Mengel in the pass between Striped Butte Valley and Goler Wash in the south-western part of Death Valley. * Walter Scott (Death Valley Scotty) is buried on the hill overlooking the "castle" that bears his name. * Several of the ghost towns in and around the death valley area have the odd gravesite here and there. I'd have to do a bit of research to identify any specifics, but you could probably find this information on the internet faster than I could respond to it. I'm sure many members here have their own personal favorite "permanent Death Valley residents" to share. Cecil? Joel? Scooter (et al)??? Regards,
