Echo Canyon is pretty cool, a long bumpy ride to the Inyo Mine site near the end of the road. At the end of the road a foot trail continues through the canyon and there are a few petroglyphs up in there. Open camping is allowed in Echo and Hole in the Wall but they are both extremely rocky & good spots are few and far between. Hole in the Wall is similar to Echo except there's no mine site, so less to explore. HTH & have fun!
