Nemo Pass

The origin has always been a mystery. LeRoy's mention of N American Fauna No. 3,(In posting on "Death Valley Canyon") reminds me that I was once close to a solution. There was a Dr. Nimmo (sp?) on one of the early expeditions; maybe the one cited above. If you look at books on "Names" you will find that Nemo is an alternate spelling for Nimmo. (one "m"?)
I forget where I read about DR. Nimmo, maybe it was in N American Fauna (?)
