I'm no expert on PS occupancy rates, but I travel twice weekly through PS on my commute to and from work in Trona and my home in Owens Valley.
I've found that PS always have cars parked in front of rooms even in summer. The campground has at least 2 RVs and a tent or two in the hot season. Each evening when driving by enroute home, there's always a group or crowd on the veranda enjoying refreshments, food and conversation.
Now that cooler weather is here, vehicle and RV population at the resort is increasing.
