If you desire to trust a portable gadget I think you should get a small gas powered honda generator. They will jump start vehicles all day long as well as charge batteries. Also, having a good battery is a plus as they wont need to be jump started. I use my portable jumper as an anchor for the jetski. Thats all it is good for.
