My opinions regarding large vehicles had to do with purchasing one in general, not just for use in Death Valley. I go on a couple of legal trails in the national forests where there are pine trees that are growing so close to the already narrow trail, my Forerunner barely gets through. In Anza Borrego - "The Squeeze" is another example. Just something to consider when making a purchase. I have nothing against Hummers - think they are great - but there are some areas in the mountains and deserts that they won't fit.
