What type of camping wil you be doing? Furnace Creek is the nicest. Smooth ground for tent, lots to see and do. For seeing the sights of DV its central location is great for exploring and hikeing. The crowds and food are its downfall.
Pamamint Springs is smaller, friendler and better food and beer. Campground is rocky so you need ground cover. Both have water. Other campgrounds are throughout the park with less and less amenities. It depends on how rough you want it. See NPS web site
