I was there last week. Our mini group has been cleaning out the main room and removing trash that has been left by recent campers. The ranch would not be a good place to squat if you want privacy. Daily there are visitors, especially folks from Europe who have a trailguide that lists the ranch as a must see. The Rangers are there daily to discourage theft and Illegal activity from Manson followers. To assist, on your visit bring 8 foot 2x4s and tar paper, and 5 gallons of Henrys roof tar. Our next project is to repair the patio roof which recently blew away.
I will be there feb 2-4.
