The use of softer tires will reduce the roughness. You shouldn't need big, bad "truck tires" on a light weight vehicle. The most important thing is a good tread pattern. Sidewall protection starts with you - don't put the sidewalls up on the rocks. The Tracker's small size makes maneuvering much easier. Experiment with lower pressures off the pavement. Low pressure increases traction, makes for a softer ride, and reduces the chance of a flat. Carry an air tank for quick refill before hitting the highway. Lee
