None of the areas in the book are closed to the public. Should they be known to the public? He does stress time and time again that it is a special area and should be treated as such. It was bound to get the publicity sooner or later. Years ago I helped write a climbing guide book to a local climbing area. The place sees tons more trafic and is not the same place it used to be. Am I glad I helped write it? Yes!! Many more people are now enjoying the place as it should be enjoyed. If I want to avoid the crowds I just go climbing on a weekday, no crowds at all. Same with visiting Saline.
