Drove up it years ago when it used to be a real 4X4
road in my 69 Land Rover with only 2 out of 4 cylinders
with ok compression. It is a much better road now.
Any stock 4X4 should make it with no problems. The
desert floor before you start heading up has been the
hardest part of the trail in rescent years because of washout
from rains but I suspect that is not a problem now.
