The official National Park Service info on backcountry camping (w/map, no GPS) is at the link below. There are several established campgrounds (ranging from dry camps, primitive facilities, and full R/V hookups) in DV, but you can also camp in most backcountry areas if you get far enough off the main road. The first-come, first served cabins in Butte Valley might be worth checking out. If the cabins are occupied, you can make your own campsite. Have fun!
