It rained friday night in Beatty & most of Death Valley. I arrived at Stovepipe Wells at 8:15 Saturday morning (on my way out after 5 days) and it was raining lightly. The right side of the road (headed east by the dunes) was flooded. Arrived in Ridgcrest at 10:00am and saw that the wind was blowing 50mph at least! It was torrential.
