I was talking Death valley exclusively, and yes, my argument is weak because I didn't expect Tekopa flow data. But is true about calculating the flow. You multiply the cross section with the speed. 10' x 10' with speed of 2 feet p[er second will give 200 cubic feet per second.
How else they could calculate spring discharge or how much watewr is in the river?
