Are you allowed to use a flashlight if you have to go out at night to spank out a chubber? Or will it scare the dung beetles? The rabbit rangers(fish and game) use airplanes for patrol to catch spotlighters who shoot game at night. As long as your bangstick is put away, it is not illegal to use the light to look for hazards in the road...all in how you word it.
