Thust a little info on hydrogen sulfide or h2s. If you do carry a h2s moniter you will know that it doesnt sound untill 10 parts per million, which is only a warning. When it gets to 25 ppm is when you need to realy worrie, but you still have time to get out of the area with out having to worrie or rush. If you can smell H2S you are safe, but it is deadly when you can not smell it. I forget what the osha max exp. level is for a 8 hour work day is but you can be exposed to small levels for a period of time without worrie. I also enjoy exploring old mines and yes you do need to use your head and keep in mind that it is a dangerous hobbie but just be safe.
