Air down and speed up is what Lar Dog and E.K dog did one fine afternoon by Goffs... one dip just a tad bigger than the washboard sent the driveshaft through the floor, spilling their jack and cokes.Washboard sucks, and there is no remedy. Drive slower and enjoy the drive. Take the change out of your ashtray to reduce noise. My newest truck was ordered without an ashtray as I got tired of catching the thing in the air.
I have found that if I drive in an "S" pattern on west side highway the ride is smoother. On bad spots, place two wheels up on the divider berm. Just dont get caught by the green gestapo.........
