Shocks on washboard roads

What is your general experience with brands of shocks
in regards to durability and performance on washboard
roads?

My two cents
Bilstein: Excellent results on two rigs. 5 year old
units on my old hardbody were still perfect.

Rancho 4000: Worked well when new but did not last as
long as Bilsteins.
