I was at the racetrack on 7-10. It was around 1:00 and I took a stroll to the grandstand. Long walk back to truck with the sun reflecting off the playa! Thought there might be a structure to hide in up at Lippencott mine. Nope. As if the playa wasn't a hint, I went roaming a wadi. Big mistake- 3 sided oven. Tried the "piss clear" test, and not enough to check! Had just enough sense left to know it was time to get out of the sun! I was glad I left an itinerary.
