Best map I have found is the Death Valley Recreation Map from Tom Harrison. You can order on the web:

It does not show the Barker Ranch location. That is part of the fun, to explore and find something on your own. The Ranch is off Goler Wash, you can get on Goler Wash Road from either the east or west side. The approach from the west is easiest because you don't have to go over Mengel Pass, the only sticky spot on the road these days. The road from Ballarat to the entrance to Goler Wash is mostly improved due to the huge gold mine in business down there. Goler Wash Road is all gravel up to the Ranch and is even easily accessible by motorcycles, which seem to be the latest fad in that area of the park.
