And half the fun of this website is the variety of responses you get to witness.
As for the long Ford v Chevy - If you want a nice looking street ride, GM has the most looks. If you want a work truck, Fords are the best sellers. Best is the operative term. Depends on what you want. And being "best" changes in response to worldwide demands. From about the mid 80s to mid 90s, Fords sold the most worldwide. Haven't looked lately, but still am driving a Ford. Daily driver on 25-mile commute, ranch pickup, and desert dueller. It works for me. Doesn't mean I want to see you driving one, too.
