Yes, Bette and I have many fond memories of Meadowlark Airport which I later named Sunset Beach Airport when I leased the Airport from 1952 thru 1962. At that time Harry Ross picked up the lease. I spent several years at Fullerton, then settled in at Long Beach Airport where I was an FAA Examiner out of several FBO's for 35 yrs. I opened my own small flight school at Long Beach called Paster Aviation in 1992 and and just did retire in Feb. of 2003. While still active in the field of aviation and maintaining my pilot's license, I am spending a lot more time enjoying our get-away in AZ. and checking out some of the small private airports there where we have met some great folks.
We are still in touch with many of the students that learned to fly at the old Sunset Beach Airport. Anyone out there that wants to get in touch--you've got the email above and we are in the phone book both here in Lake Forest where we reside and in the Bullhead City,AZ book. Happy Flying.
