Think "stay on the right" especially where you
have no painted lines on the road. Your emergency reaction if somebody comes over the hill on a narrow gravel road will be to go to
the left. Could be problems needless to say and
the fact that you might not see any traffic for
quite a while might make you forget the rules
and resort to your home behavior. Seen it happen
when I let my English friends drive in the Death
Valley. Scared the hell out of me and the car
that came over the hill. Luckily we all stopped
and decided it was time to have a beer and I decided I should drive for some reason or another.
