In Ridgecrest we have some sort of Loxosceles which shouldn't be here because of our cold winters, but it comes up from LA on cardboard boxes and bags - ie. to grocery stores, Staples, etc. When bitten, and we have a dozen folk bitten every year at least, it causes an open ulcerated sore which just gets bigger and deeper. Sometimes causes paralysis! Doctors can only cut a larger hole in an attempt to stop the tissue decay. Any idea which one that may be??
