It costs $20 for the entrance fee, but it's good for 7 days, so you can come back out that way, as well. But make sure you leave SF at a time when you won't hit the 580 traffic. Head for Manteca, get on 120, and don't get off until you hit 395. Make sure you gas up no later than Oakdale; the stations in Yosemite may be closed by now.
