If you want 3 watts but only have the small phones of today, be sure it's capable of both digital and analog service. Then buy a 3 watt booster kit for the phone. Now you have the convenience of both. Three watts when it's hooked up to the booster and 1/2 watt when it's on your hip. The only problem of course is, the 3 watts is only available in your vehicle.
