Where's U2's Joshua Tree?

The rock band U2 released an album titled The Joshua Tree in 1987. The cover shot of the album is the band standing at Zabriskie Point. The rest of the album features shots of the band standing with a lone joshua tree that were supossedly taken in the Lee Flat area. The tree fell over a couple of years ago, but I would still dearly love to visit the spot. Anyone know exactly where this is located and if one can get there with a passenger car when I visit next weekend? I have included a link to site with some great photos of the area.
