Thought I would past this along to you:
Emmett Harder lives in Devore, CA. - House is ok. Emmett was away in DV when all of this erupted. Spoke with Ruth (Emmett’s wife) and she was evacuated Saturday evening. Several houses above theirs are destroyed. Fire is still strong up there.
Joel Briggs (the drifter) lives in Verdemont (between Cal-State San Bernardino and Devore). House is ok. Fire came up to his front door but was stopped by firefighters. Joel did indicate he lost the “boy’s fort” a barn in the back of his lot. In the barn was camping equipment, his mule trailer (M-416) and a lndcruiser he was restoring.
Ted Fillmore (Whitepaws) lives in Verdemont. House is ok. His storage shed in the back yard was lost along with his fence. Intensive smoke damage in the house. Lost a tractor and some well drilling equipment.
