U.S. Borax has agreed to screen some rare episodes from their Death Valley Days series during the upcoming 2003 49ers Encampment!
Here's the tentative schedule of shows (at Furnace Creek Visitor Center Auditorium):
Thu - Nov 6, 9:00 AM "Claim Jumpin Jeannie" B&W. Filmed at the mining camp of Ryan in Death Valley.
Thu - Nov 6, 5:00 PM "Cynthia's Dream Dress" B&W. Filmed at Furnace Creek Ranch & Inn
Fri - Nov 7, 9:00 AM "Green is the Color of Gold" (Color). Aaron & Rosie Winters - Discovery of Borax
Fri - Nov 7, 12:15 PM "Out of the Valley of Death"
(Color. The story of the 49ers in Death Valley.
Sat - Nov 8, 3:00 PM "Raid on the San Francisco Mint" (Color). Starring Ronald Reagan.
