I have a 4-cyl. '85 Toyota pickup. The 4-wheel is valuable on a washboard curve. Often I try to drive over 35mph (but slower on curves).

I use more gasoline but I always have extra. The safety factor more than offsets the extra gasoline consumption. LeRoy
