Ponder this for repairs...wet suit material and hoseclamps. I had a rubber repair kit in my new jap truck for 7 years and got to use it at warm springs. The entire top portion of my radiator fractured after a short(accidental)airborne ride. I wrapped it and pulled the top down with big hose clamps on the corners. Repair was so bitchen that I stopped at bear valley and 395 to look at it. left it on for 4 months.
A small tackle box with gooey things, clamps, tire repair kit, rubber scrap, gasket material and bailing wire can make the difference between waiting for Miller tow and rolling onto the next stop.
