Thanks for all the input. Our truck is less then a year old. I really wasn't worried about it. I was more worried about going down a steep grade with a heavy trailer. As I stated, the last time I went that way, I was a kid. I remembered a steep long road and a real bad accident that someone had. I think we will go through Baker.
This will be my husband's first time exploring Death Valley. We have flown into Furnace Creek a few times but we have only gone to the ranch or Inn for breakfast. I am looking forward to this.
