Campfires are overrated. They are neat to look at but what a hassle. The smoke just ruins your cloths and tents and bags. Easier to carry lightweight clothing for warmth than wood, or gathering it-which is also not too cool mkost places like DV. BackPacking stoves get the food/coffee thing done fast and orderlessly.
If you want a fire, go to the big campgrounds and you can have a dozens going all at once.
