On December 20th at approximately 1400 hours I saw a dark figure running across the floor of Ubehebe crater. I whipped out my binoculars and the being appeared to be covered in hair with arms to the knees. As a 43 year old junior scout for the California BF Society I felt compelled to report this to my senior scout. What could he possibly be eating to sustain life? Is there a water source on the crater floor? Shelter from the harsh desert elements? I have recently been informed that the California BF Society is sending out it's finest scouts to ivestigate in January to answer these very questions. I am extremely honored to be chosen as a member of this team to assist in the pouring of plaster casts. I would like to thank my wife for her support during my 21 year junior scout career.
