The statement, "NOBODY tangles with BLM (or any federal agency) and wins." is not true. I know of an individual who fought them and won. It was a long and difficult fight, it involved land rights, but eventually this person did triumph. Triumph may sound a bit inflated but in this case I believe it to be deserved. It would serve no purpose to go into details, but it did happend and may have sent precedent for others with similar problems.
